I have RH 7.1 and installed Apache server and are running great. Recently I tried to do virtual hosting but I this error " Permission Denied" when I view the virtual host website. My main website is working good. Here is how I setup the virtual host, I point the directory (where the html files) of the virtual to the /home/user/www and set the permissions in that directory to worldreadable as instructed in th how-tos but when test it with my browser(IE 5) it states Permission Denied. I tried to change the directory to of the virtual host to /home/www and it worked, the virtual website is running and ok. The owner of /home/www is root while the owner of /home/user/www is the user. Can anybody tell me what do I need to do?
