This is the problem but your solution is not working for me. On my first computer I unplugged all hdds leaving only my cdrom in, my system booted with the cd but strangely when ever I plugged in any hdd it would stop booting from the cd. I have tried all different master/slave/cableselect combinations but it just wont do it.
Do you have any links to pages with more info? any other suggestions??
