I've been getting this in the mail the past few days from my machine:
/etc/cron.daily/tmpwatch:
error: failed to open /etc/mtab for reading
and, indeed, when I try manually running /etc/cron.daily/tmpwatch I
see the above error message. /etc/mtab exists and is world readable
(not that that would make a difference for cron). Ideas?
