Hi,
I think you can choose the options in the filter choices when
you set up your printer so you would setup one spool with dublex
say 2200duplex and one as 2200single. If you want to send your
own escape sequences you really need to setup a raw spool without
the filter or with one of your own creation. If you send a command
to the printer before the job usually the first part of the job
will clear the printer setting it back to defaults. The printer
that is first in print.caps is the default printer
