Tripwire monitors files for changes, ships with 7.2. Will do no good if you are already hacked but helps prevent it from happening. Also Bastille is an interesting product for securing systems.

Importance: High Hello Eveyone, I have a strange request. I would like to know if there is a way that I can check my systems interity. Normally hackers change your ps,netstat etc commands. Surely there must be a way of checking them against the source (rpm) or can't you make a MD5 hash of the system (exclude log files /var/log dir) and run checks against it ? Thanks, Pieter _______________________________________________ Redhat-list mailing list [EMAIL PROTECTED] https://listman.redhat.com/mailman/listinfo/redhat-list _______________________________________________ Redhat-list mailing list [EMAIL PROTECTED] https://listman.redhat.com/mailman/listinfo/redhat-list
