I had a great deal of trouble installing RH7.2 on one of three identical machines. Locked up ten seconds after selecting graphics install.
Found that installing with "linux mem=64m" did the trick - (linux mem=128m didn't work, even though the machine had 128M of memory.) Machines were Athlon 800MHz with sis MBs. bruce On Friday 22 February 2002 10:55 am, you wrote: > On 17:03 21 Feb 2002, Trond Eivind Glomsrød <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> wrote: > | > I'd remark that the RH72 CDs won't boot off all machines (including > | > machines where the RH71 CDs _do_ boot). > | > I have a minitower here which has a RH71 distro on it because we > | > couldn't get the RH72 CDs to install.
