Hi all, Im trying to setup a printer on my redhat box, I don't use any monitor on the PC, just SSH into it via another PC. when I run "printtool" it comes back with the following error -
No display information -- gtk_init not called Gtk-WARNING **: cannot open display: I presume this is because it is trying to load a GUI. is there a text equivalent of this tool that will run over a SSH connection ? please forgive me if I am looking right over the answer, still kind of a beginner at all this :) Regards Pete Peter A Joslin GML Networking Technologies -------------------------------------------- T: +44 (0) 1255 672 103 F: +44 (0) 1255 679 909 -------------------------------------------- Mobile +44 (0) 7968 395 472 Mobile fax +44 (0) 7968 103 456 -------------------------------------------- E-Mail [EMAIL PROTECTED] <mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]> WEB www.gmlnt.com <http://www.gmlnt.com> -------------------------------------------- ICQ 99127155 MSN [EMAIL PROTECTED] _______________________________________________ Redhat-list mailing list [EMAIL PROTECTED] https://listman.redhat.com/mailman/listinfo/redhat-list
