i had to install a older version of rpm package binutils. i forced the install. now i need to revert back to the same version of binutils that came with RedHat 7.2 Howver, when i do a rpm -Uvh --force --nodeps binutil-xxxx it appears it is doing it. When i then do a rpm -qa | grep bintutil i see the old version of binutil. Now how do i get this new version of binutil installed. Thanks.
