the page www.usdoj.gov/atr/cases/ms-major.htm has a selected set of public comments on the proposed final judgment of u.s. versus microsoft. while many of these are worth reading, one is howlingly funny for its sheer stupidity -- the one submitted by the Center for the Moral Defense of Capitalism -- apparently, a fancy name for a collection of Ayn Rand groupies who are firmly in Microsoft's corner and come up with intellectual nuggets like, "There is no such thing as a private monopoly. Only the government can forcibly prevent competitors from entering a market."
