RH 7.2 definitely has it. I routinely set this up for machines at home
and work.  "ls /mnt/dvd"? Look at those video files!  I have a laptop at
home set up so that /mnt/cf refers to the compact flash adaptor, which
means getting photos out of the digital camera is "insert flash card,
cp /mnt/cf/*/*.JPG ~/new-photos".

Very handy.

The service is called autofs.
