Sorry, I should have explained myself more. I am wanting to allow a specific user to be able to manage the user accounts on a box (through something like webmin - so sudo won't work in this instance), but I really don't want to let them have the root password. Is this possible?

Gives regular users root privs. The sudoers files can restrict what programs certain users have access to. -Rob > > Is it possible to setup a user that is not root (and does not have all of > the privs that root has) who can create/modify/delete user accounts?
