Hello My desire is as root on hostA to run a crontab that periodically executes a command on hostB without supplying the root password. Something like "ssh root@hostB command".
My attempts are unsuccessful. Each scheme ends with hostB prompts for a password. I'd appreciate help with a scheme that works. I'm running RedHat 6.X and 7.X.
