Hop over to http://www.linuxprinting.org. The low-cost 1200 looks like a good bet. I have no experience with it, but it's closely related to the 1100, which is a bulletproof little desktop model that's ubiquitous among my clients (who are not Linux users, I should point out). What makes the 1200 different is that it's a postscript printer, which means it should be very happy hanging off any Unix box. Adding postscript to a printer that's known to be reliable should probably give you a winner. - -d - -- David Talkington PGP key: http://www.prairienet.org/~dtalk/0xCA4C11AD.pgp - -- http://setiathome.ssl.berkeley.edu/pale_blue_dot.html -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: PGP 6.5.8 Comment: Made with pgp4pine 1.75-6 iQA/AwUBPFy30b9BpdPKTBGtEQLBOACgg8YEvrGhdwqmiIsOF8Dlcg+pBWkAoK6C X0sm2QtZEud+cttIvdZIdWOy =krgQ -----END PGP SIGNATURE----- _______________________________________________ Redhat-list mailing list [EMAIL PROTECTED] https://listman.redhat.com/mailman/listinfo/redhat-list
