Hi all. Been using Red Hat (7.2) for about a week or two now (was a Debian user for a couple years). I've been installing the Errata RPMs and I've noticed that when I install the kernel packages, they hose the permissions I've set on grub.conf.
I set them non-world-readable because the file contains the hash of the bootloader password. Is there any way I can prevent the RPMs from changing this? Or should I file a bug report against the package? Thanks. -- Jim B.
