If there were no visible warning when you ran configure (ignoring the
config.log) then you're probably ok. Looking at the log these look like
failed feature tests. Configure tests for many facilities, not all of
which exist on all platforms. Since it's testing for the "right" way to
compile stuff, these tests compile test code. Necessarily, therefore,
on some platforms the test programs will fail (because they are "wrong"
for that platform.) So this is normal.
