Ed, I think that there were actually two things he was saying: 1. The OP asked if his version was up-to-date enough; I think I said 2.9p2 was the latest, and Jonathan was correcting me in that there is a later version available. 2. I think he was simply saying that SSH (not necessarily 3.0.3) should be made part of the base system and always installed so *everyone* always has it available instead of (or at the very least in addition to) telnet.
