I forget the names of the files and I'm not near one of the servers, but 
7.2 installs "dummy" certs since the server is enabled for encryption. Your 
problem will immediately go away if you change Eudora from "Use encryption 
if available" to "Never use encryption". Also remember to change this in 
*checking* mail, not sending it; the option exists for both.

In the long-term, the better solution is to make/get proper certificates 
for your machine (either self-signed or bought), then use those to gain the 
benefits of encryption. I just don't know how to do that yet... anyone?
