Hello all, I was wondering, is it possible to manually fsck a machine if you are not at console to actually take the machine down and do the fsck yourself? The reason I ask is because I need to fsck a machine that I have in a collocation facility, which is several states away from me. I was wondering if there is any way to do that without having to ask the co-location people to do it for me and to bill me for it as an additional service. I eagerly await your responses.
