I had grub installed to MBR. When starting the machine after a s2d, grubs starts up no matter what as somebody pointed out. There is basically two options, either move grub to the start of the /boot partition or add an entry in grub.conf. I know what needs to be added in lilo, but I couldn't get grub to work. The problems was "solved", since I wanted to mount my laptop on the network at work. Because of some rather strange requirements I ended up with reinstalling redhat 7.2. At least, backup was pretty fast with a 100MB line:-) Oeystein _______________________________________________ Redhat-list mailing list [EMAIL PROTECTED] https://listman.redhat.com/mailman/listinfo/redhat-list
