an interesting idea but i don't think so ...at least not in my case only one of the two rh boxes in the office here is affected, and of those two, the affected one does nothing save serve up content for the intranet and act as an ftp file transfer server for mac/windows/linux files. nothing is ever excecuted on it so i'm more prone to believe my issues lies in a) a bug in the os, or b) my own supidity (more likely).
