I'm looking for a replacement for our current software in our Network Operation Center. One of the main needs is collection of SNMP traps and of course dealing with them. I'm not necessarily looking for free, but not very expensive would be nice (I know, it's relative).
I'm looking at Netsaint and Big Brother right now for some services, but what is a good tool for collecting traps? Any other suggestions? Looking for options other than Micromuse Netcool or HP Openview and not options that cost $50,000+.
