i just installed 7.2
its got some new interfaces i'm not totally
familiar with.
the new network card installation program, after i
tell it what kind of a card it is, and its irq, and io addresses,
doestn initialize the card.
its a 3com509 and it is set as a non-plug and play,
it params are hard set. and it is and isa card.
there used to be other programs to do this, but i
have been away from linux for about a year and cant remember the programs names
that i used to use.
one i think was linuxcof which seems to no longer
be included with this version of red hat linux.
could someone point mer down the right path
?
thanks :-)
