wu-ftpd logs transfers in xferlog. Samba logs connections, but not file manipulation. Look in /var/log/samba/. >where do I look for a logging of all changes that I have made to the O/S >( e.g. apply patches, stopping services etc.) Service start/stop actions are logged in /var/log/messages. Patches and software installs are not logged as such. But you can use the output of 'rpm -qa' to see what RPMs are installed. Most other executable programs are installed into /usr/local/bin or /usr/local/sbin. Tony - -- Anthony E.
