Hi again, I'm trying to replace sendmail with postfix, because I'm a regular guy and not Mensa material. I'm getting even more confused than I normally am and would really appreciate the help of someone who has been through this before. Reading the howto's has left my head spinning.
My basic structure is single fixed IP, public domain name (all registered and everything), local private subnet of 3 win boxes and a RH7.2 box. Postfix (RedHat rpm) is installed and "running", but I can't get anything from it. I think I need clarifcation of the entries in main.cf, and aliases, so if someone could run me through those, or give me a copy of theirs, it would help immensely. I guess a private response would be best, adn I could summarize the condensed results in a posting to the list for the "general good". Thanks much in advance. Julina.
