Not that I know much about getty, but I suppose if you expect some help we'll need more information anyways. For instance, did you configure this system to allow dial-in connections? Any other error messages in the logs? What's the main purpose of this system (aside from mail, which I can guess due to the hostname)? Are you using uugetty? A segmentation fault is usually caused whenever the application tried to access a memory address that does not belong to it.
