Hi everyone,
I am preparing to do a review of RedHat Linux 7.2 for my e-zine (Open for
Business, www.ofb.biz), but as someone who hasn't used RedHat since version
5.1 and generally uses Mandrake or SuSE, I feel sort of out of my element in
RedHat. That's why I'm writting in, I was hoping to get a few pointers so
that I can avoid giving RedHat an unfair review simply because I'm not use to
it.

Here are the problems I have run into:

1.) I ran the install using the Custom setting, but I didn't seem to ever
get to a stage where I could setup my printer. Does the setup program have a
printer setting I somehow missed?

2.) Does RedHat support ALSA at all, or just OSS?

3.) This is the one that really stumped me - is there any kind of system
control panel (i.e. like DrakConf or YaST) to administer settings such as
changing hardware, configuring init.d, and so forth? I couldn't seem to find
one.

4.) Finally, am I correct in my finding that RHN does not offer the upgrade
to KDE 2.2.2 (there are RedHat RPM's at KDE.org, I was just curious if RHN
could fetch them)?

Thanks a ton for your help!

  -Tim
