Indeed you can setup the parallel port as a network device (plip#). You
should have a look at the howto's (probably the Net-HOWTO). Just "cd
/usr/share/doc/HOWTO" and "grep -ilr plip *". Then have a look at the relevant
documents. The howto's can also be found at www.linuxdoc.org.
