I am looking into trying evolution on my newly installed and working well laptop. I have been wanting to get out of the mozilla/netscape all-in-one mail deal for a while and was looking into pgp mail which led to evolution. I now have an excuse to try it.
Holy * batman have you seen all the rpms with ximian in them on the well if you don't have red carpet but want to do this any way ftp site at: ftp://ftp.ximian.com/pub/ximian-gnome/redhat-72-i386 Acouple of questions for those of you that have gone before me. Do I really have to upgrade all those packages? What is the difference between gnome vs ximian? How do you pronounce ximian? I hate to change so many packages just to try something out. Any tips appreciated. I will now go back t the site and read some more but I wanted to try and get some feedback before everyone crashed.
