Neeraj,


Check out the Gnome Control Center.  I believe there is an option there
somewhere to disable it.  If you see it starts automatically as soon as you
insert a CD-ROM into the drive or something like that, you may as well
consider turning off 'autofs' from the init scripts.  In any case, I think
I ended up removing the whole nautilus package and everything appears to be
working fine.

rpm -e nautilus
