Hello Everyone, I would like to setup a RedHat 7.2 Dialin Server using PPP.
Here is what I have done so far : 1) Checked my modem under mgetty 2) Checked my /etc/ppp/options.ttyS1 3) Checked my /etc/mgetty+????/login.options I have worked all the HOW-TOs from redhat.com and linux.com but none seems to work. This is what I would like ! A server that you dial into and ppp answers, assigns you an IP address (even if it is 192.168.1.1:192.168.1.2), DNS and WINS. My problems are that when ever RedHat answers the call I get a terminal login RedHat bla... login Then I can login using the same auth. as my telnet and I get a telnet session. Is there anyway I can overcome this ?
