Ok, I found a work-around to my problem: The problem exists if you set up alias ip addresses with the style:
ifcfg-eth0:0 If you use this style, it assumes you have linuxconf installed, because that's the style linuxconf uses. I found if you use the other style: ifcfg-eth0-range0 with the IPADDR_START and IPADDR_END range feature, the script does not try to look for linuxconf. Problem solved -- and it doesn't require any special changes. Hope this helps somebody out there! I get a command not found error message because I don't have linuxconf on my system. Has anybody seen a newer version of this script? I could create my own kludeged version, but I'd rather use something standard. Thanks!!! _______________________________________________ Redhat-list mailing list [EMAIL PROTECTED] https://listman.redhat.com/mailman/listinfo/redhat-list _______________________________________________ Redhat-list mailing list [EMAIL PROTECTED] https://listman.redhat.com/mailman/listinfo/redhat-list
