(I can ping my JPL printer from my machine in Norway.) Can you ping your printer?
Which printer packages are you using? A while back I couldn't print, and I got similar messages as you are getting. That problem went away when I upgraded the relevant packages. I don't know anything about windows, but is it possible that the windows machine is trying to act as a printerserver on your network? If so, then you might have to add your linux machine to a list of machines that are allowed to print. (In linux that file would have been /etc/hosts.lpd) -- Øystein Olsen [EMAIL PROTECTED], [EMAIL PROTECTED], Institute of Theoretical Astrophysics, University of Oslo, Norway _______________________________________________ Redhat-list mailing list [EMAIL PROTECTED] https://listman.redhat.com/mailman/listinfo/redhat-list
