Eth0 fails for 3COM 3CSOHO100-TX NIC Card

I just finished loading Redhat Linux 7 however the OS doesn't seem to be recognizing my 3COM OfficeConnect 3CSOHO100-TX NIC.  During start-up I am getting the following message:

Bringing up eth0: insmod /lib/modules/2.2.16-22/net/3c59x.0: insmod eth0 failed.
Delaying eth0 initialization.

ifconfig -a shows only the loopback interface.   Can anyone tell me how to configure this NIC?  The NIC card does work with the Windows OS.
