I had lots of linux experience,  I took the class and the test.
the class helped fill in the cracks of all the stuff I already knew. 
The class is also gave answers some of the questions that were to be in
the exam, unlike the study guide I had.  If I didn't take the class I
probabally would of passed, but not with a 96.
