> > [hal@feenix tmp]$ host powerstation.tomii.dnsalias.com > > powerstation.tomii.dnsalias.com. is an alias for tomii.dnsalias.com. > > tomii.dnsalias.com. has address 65.187.98.9 > > > > [hal@feenix tmp]$ host 65.187.98.9 > > Host 9.98.187.65.in-addr.arpa. not found: 2(SERVFAIL) I don't think the alias is a problem. It's just that reverse lookup fails. Instruct your ISP to add a reverse entry for 65.187.98.9 to its DNS, or do it yourself if that is possible (fi I can do DNS updates at the service page of my ISP, but not for reverse lookups). Bye, Leonard. P.S. Could you (pl) strip your replies a little? TIA. _______________________________________________ Redhat-list mailing list [EMAIL PROTECTED] https://listman.redhat.com/mailman/listinfo/redhat-list
