Red Hat added the VPN Patches into 2.2.17-14 (although removed from 2.2.19-6.2.1 due to conflicts with another patch), the PPTP Code has continued to work for me with subsequent RH Kernel Updates! Unfortunately I do access a Microsoft VPN, so I can NOT help with the Firewall Ports of a "real" IPSec VPN!
