I'm new to the group
and to Linux and already have a little problem.
I've made the floppy
boot disk ready to perform a HD install, problem is that the initial screen
starts up and when I select text (or any form of install) the machine begins to
load initrd.img and then fails ... asking for a disk to be inserted.Have read
the destructions till I'm blue in the face and can't spot anything I've
overlooked.
Machine in question is a P200MMX with 96MB RAM and
still has an install of Windows ME that I'm happy to be writing
over.
Does anyone have any
ideas please?
