I don't have much knowledge of *how* to do this, but the idea of opening 
access to your computer and your home directory from untrusted machines 
scares the bejeezus out of me. I work too hard to try to *secure* my 
computer to even try this.

Note that NFS is, by definition, insecure and should never be used outside 
a firewall. Samba I don't know about, but I've never yet heard of a samba 
share over the open Internet so I'm guessing it's not a common/recommended 
thing.

A good service, with some excellent ideas, and one I think we should 
support more. It will solve your problem very neatly and even for free, if 
you wish.

Plenty of places that offer you free storage space on the Internet.
