I have recently upgraded to 8.11.6-1.5.y (a RH rpm) I have about six domains I host. Each zone record has the mx pointing towards the same machine that the sendmail is running on.
@ IN MX 10 pop.daicelssa.com ; pop IN A 208.32.6.21 208.32.6.21 is also mail.ohiocounty.net (the real domain name, and mail server) In my virtusertable I have: [EMAIL PROTECTED] mailuser This user has an account on the local machine. However, if I try to send mail to that individual I get the following reply back from the server-daemon: The original message was received at Thu, 8 Nov 2001 16:53:44 -0600 from canarrw-ws.ohiocounty.net [208.32.6.91] ----- The following addresses had permanent fatal errors ----- <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> ----- Transcript of session follows ----- 554 5.0.0 MX list for daicelssa.com. points back to mchn2.ohiocounty.net 554 5.3.5 Local configuration error They can send mail, and they can receive mail (I think).
