I'm configuring a new computer as a web and database server. The computer
came with RedHat 7.0 preinstalled, though the network card wasn't
configured. And the network card is the problem. It's a 3Com 3C905, found
the right module for it and the computer reports that eth0 comes up
successfully. However, if you actually try to talk to the network, it says
it is unreachable. The indicator lights on the card seem to show that it
is seeing network traffic.
Any ideas on what might be the problem?
