Still More Problems: Your Help Appreciated

Hi;
I had a problem with slocate. It kept eating up all my CPUs when I 
cron.daily kicked in. So I grabbed a new rpm and updated it. Now, I get 
this error:
 >>>
fatal error: locate: decode_db: 'pathlen == -1'! Corrupt Database!
<<<
What do I do to trouble-shoot this? How do I rebuild the database?
