I understand that.......:).........I just wasn't aware that scheemers (
virus makers whatever ) were "able" to infect even a root user ( which
at moment i am not --yes dave/grandpa no more root--:) virus attackers
go home....ha
seriously though i understand there are threats indeed I just do alot of
maintenance/compiling you name it and i get tired of su/password jargon
but keeping a console open yes is no biggie i'll freely admit......
This may not sound like a big deal on a personal

absolutely:).....many times more than i'd prefer to count.....learning
all the way minus my
stark/stupid determination for the hastle free environment for
root.......i just need to take deep breath and go ..--yes I can deal
with su/password :)*******
but........as I understand it....( not sure how much protection i get
from at&t --use their cable service--yeah!!!!!!! ) the use of
firestarter protects me anyway from root attacks but anything coming at
me via email is another story..i'm not up on those latest loathesome
critters.....
