i just re-formatted/re-installed redhat 7 onto my partition ( no server
) as i was having trouble printing and could not diagnose so i thought
re-installing would clinch it...
nope....when i run printtool I still get "not detected" on all ports....
this very printer has worked in redhat before...yes the printer
works..ie:in windows and yes its a supported printer ie:epson stylus
color 860..
lpd waiting is present in system monitor so that part should be good to
go.......next step according to howto is just running printtool....
can anyone think what might be wrong system wize that would not allow it
to be seen in linux but yet work fine in windows...or have I forgotten
some needed step ........
