Hello All, I am having the problem noted in the subject line. More specifically, after the message: Starting Linuxconf.....[OK] comes it just freezes. Now normally I would boot off of floppies, mount the hard drive then and look into what could be causing the freeze in rc.local, but I am running console off of serial (no VGA), so I was wondering if there was a better way to attack this problem. I know it is not the console freezing because it will still interact with my keyboard, i.e. I can type stuff in. Also, it is booting to run level 3, so it _should_ not be the X server causeing the problem. The version of redhat is 6.2. Any help would be appreciated.
