Actually, the intial response was correct.  If you only want
to setup a chaching nameserver...install bind and power up
the service...the default behavior is setup for a caching
nameserver.  

You don't need to put forwarders for the server to work.  I
would not advise putting in forwarders unless you know what
you are doing.
