Hi Bill,

 I am not sure anymore what your problem is. You repartitioned your drive and 
tried to do a new installation after that? This fails? Did you format the 
Linux partitions during the installation? 20MB for /boot should be fine.
 Maybe it is a good idea to try the installation again, forget about Xbill, 
and post your problem again, with a different subject.
 Have a look at the output on the different consoles (ctrl-alt-F1..F6, -F7 
gets you back to the graphical installer) to look for errors, and write down 
your partition data from fdisk.
