It would, but vim is not GPL, but rather charityware. From what I
understand of the license, source distribution is encouraged but not
required.
I think we can expect RedHat to post source in short order. The rawhide
tree includes source and binaries for 6.0, and I suspect we can expect
both in 7.1.
