The apache list at moongroup.com is a better place for your question.
That said, one possibility, barring syntax errors in your php code, is
that perhaps you're using the .php3 extension, and have configured
Apache to recognize only .php ... or vice versa.
Nevertheless, while we're on the topic, I have a bash script which
will build Apache with ssl, static mod_perl, and static PHP with
MySQL/IMAP support. I wrote it to save myself time when updating
packages and debugging builds. With minor adjustments (documented
within), it works on Red Hat 6.2/7, FreeBSD 4.2, and Solaris 6/7/8.
If it will help anyone, I'd be happy to send it or post it here.
I would also be interested in a link to the site you mention above.
