After having a server up and running stable for over a year (with
perhaps 2 reboots during that time), today it crashed with an odd error,
and I have no idea how to interpret this, nor what may have caused it.
It's an RH5.2 system, with all patches (known to me, and available on
RH's ftp-site) applied. These are the last three lines in syslog
(anything above that is normal operation):

Mar 20 14:35:31 kernel: Warning: kfree_skb passed an skb still on a
                        list (from 01c04a00).
Mar 20 14:35:31 kernel: invalid operand: 0000
Mar 20 14:35:31 kernel: CPU: 0

    What might've caused this?

    AMK4

PS: Yes, it's a dual system, however since it has RH5.2 on it, it
only uses one CPU, and it's been running fine for over a year.
