It comes with your system: xmms
Load up xmms and right click to get the menu.  Go into the preferences
dialog (options/preferences) and change the output plugin to the Disk Writer
plugin.  Choose your mp3 file and it will be converted.  I beliee it becomes
"test.wav" so you might have to do a quick mv after each one so that you do
not end up overwriting each one in turn.

If you are looking to make audio CDs, you might want to check out mp3burn on
freshmeat.
